After earning his bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish from Leeds University, Steve Markey began his career in the toy and consumer products industry as a sales director for Ertl, an American-based toy company best known for its quality die-cast farm toys, classic cars, and collectible trucks. After 5 years of working closely with the European, Middle Eastern and African markets, Steve took his relationship-building skills to the United States with OddzOn, a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc.

Today, Steve has held both senior domestic and international sales roles with a number of leading toy and consumer product companies — including Wham-O, Dreamworks SKG, Green Toys and Crazy Aaron's Enterprises. In the last two decades, he's also helped numerous U.S. companies expand internationally — setting up worldwide distribution channels as well as supporting European companies as they look to expand their presence in the United States. 

Watching these companies successfully enter new markets and build meaningful international relationships as a result of his support has fueled Steve's passion for the toy and consumer products industry. And, with limited opportunity to travel at this time, many companies are looking for guidance when it comes to international sales, marketing and logistics efforts.
